We currently accept all major insurances.
Does Dr. Empey use fluoroscopy?
Yes. Fluoroscopy, or live motion X-ray, allows Dr. Empey to provide safer, and more efficacious procedures. Dr. Empey has had extensive training in fluoroscopy and does all of procedures under fluoroscpy.
Is Dr. Empey a specialist?
Yes. Dr. Empey is an MD, or medical doctor that has completed his training in anesthesiology and has subspecialized in pain medicine by completing a pain fellowship at the Mayo Clinic. This is the highest level of training that a pain specialist can have.
Do you provide medical management in addition to interventions?
Yes. Dr. Empey and his staff are committed to provide each patient with medical management in addition to interventions. With each patient, we discuss all options for pain control and often will send patients for physical therapy or psychology/biofeedback if needed.
Where does Dr. Empey perfrom the procedures?
Most all procedures are preformed at Coral Desert Surgery Center at 1490 East Foremaster Drive, or at the old hospital at 350 East 500 South.
